assailed by boredom

as much as i love having days off, it seems that i rarely enjoy them as much as i think i would, today has been nothing but boring thus far, i plan on hearing my dad play music but that doesnt start until 9pm, and i was invited to go to a game night activity at a friends house at 8pm but i would have no way to get from there to aloha to hear my dad short of a taxicab, but maybe i'll think of something. the pirate festival is tomorrow so that will give me something to do.
